 Microsoft's Surface may not yet have hit the market but it already seems to be inspiring manufacturers. Smart Technologies has come out with a table with a multi-touch interface that can allow users to do a number of things on its surface. Targeted at schools, the table comes with six applications that allow students to answer multiple choice questions, identify parts of a diagram, paint, solve puzzles, and resize images on its scratch-proof and water-resistant surface. The company is also offering some free downloads for the table from its website. While it does weigh a massive 91 kg, it comes equipped with casters that allow it to be rolled from place to place. Of course, all this does not come cheap - each Smart Table costs $ 8000.
